In September of 2015, Pure Hockey acquired HockeyGiant’s retail stores and website. Since that time, Pure Hockey and HockeyGiant have operated as two independent brands both in-store and online – until today. We’re very excited to announce that HockeyGiant retail stores will soon become Pure Hockey.

HockeyGiant.com will continue to operate as a separate website, featuring the same great selection, service, and savings that you know and love.

Q: Why are HockeyGiant stores changing to Pure Hockey?
A: For the past two years, we’ve been working behind the scenes to build a company that combines the strengths of each brand. Changing all stores to Pure Hockey allows us to provide you the best possible service and selection across the entire company. Our commitment to you is three-fold. First, to provide you with the best selection of the highest quality products in the industry. Second, to offer you expert advice and knowledge so you can be confident the products you buy from us will be the right ones for you. And last, but not least, to make sure your user experience, both online and in-store is a memorable one.
Q: How will my local store be impacted?
A: Over the next couple months, HockeyGiant retail locations will be renamed Pure Hockey. You’ll still see the same friendly faces and great service that you’ve been accustomed to, along with some exciting changes that you’ll only find at Pure Hockey stores, like the Pure Rewards Loyalty Program. Please note, the Sterling, Virginia and Norristown, Pennsylvania Hockey Giant locations will not be changing at this time.
Q: What is Pure Rewards?
A: Pure Rewards is Pure Hockey’s loyalty program that allows customers to earn rewards for the things they buy. The program is free to join, and you can sign up at any Pure Hockey store or at purehockey.com. Please note that purchases made on HockeyGiant.com do not apply towards the Pure Rewards program, and Gift Rewards earned in the Pure Rewards program cannot be applied to orders placed on HockeyGiant.com. Q: What is the September event that’s being advertised?
A: The Grand Re-Opening is an event to celebrate our new brand and kickoff of the 2017 hockey season. It will be hosted September 14-17 at all Pure Hockey retail locations, where we will offer over $500,000 in prizes and giveaways, Pure Rewards Loyalty Bonuses, and more.
Q: Are any of the return policies, warranties, or other purchase guarantees affected by this change?
A: No, not at all. All return policies and warranties remain the same.
Q: How will HockeyGiant.com be affected?
A: The HockeyGiant.com website will not be affected in any way and will continue to operate as a separate website, featuring the same great selection, service, and savings that you know and love.
