The YFlex line is new for CCM in 2016 as it creates a great set for youth goalies that are new to learning the position of goalie.
The YFlex blocker displays a pre-curved shape for excellent puck deflections when making that great save. The palm is centered on the blocker board which is constructed with a comfortable Nash material and a reinforced hand palm guard for enhanced durability. A 3D mesh palm gusset has been added to this section of the blocker to make for great breathability.
The fingers are protected by a molded Lock thumb protector and a low density foam wrap for the rest of the fingers.
Rebound control is maximized with a single density foam/plastic on the blocking board which allows for great predictability when following a puck after a save.
