Bauer has long had a commitment to innovation, and uses scientific methods and player feedback in combination with its state-of-the-art design lab to develop the most high-performance skates in the game. The new Vapor X600 is designed with dynamic speed in mind, and each piece of its construction is strategically chosen to enhance players on-ice performance.

The Vapor X600 is constructed using Bauers fiber composite with X-Rib pattern. This composite offers strong structural support to harness explosive power while maintaining flexibility for fluid skating.

Inside the skate, the Vapor X600 has anaform foam ankle pads covered by a hydrophobic microfiber liner. This liner helps wick moisture and keeps your foot secure for maximum stride output. An anatomical 2-piece 40oz felt tongue works with an HD foam metatarsal guard to protect the foots most vulnerable areas.

Last, but definitely not least, the Vapor X600 is complete with Bauers now ultra-famous LightSpeed Edge holder in combination with the TUUK super stainless steel runner. This combination gives skaters a competitive edge and allows blades to be easily changed.

Do these skates run narrow or wide?  How do you heat mold these?  Do Bauer’s run true to size?  If I wear men’s 9, do I go smaller size?

Asked by: Sk8inator1
Vapor tends to run more on the narrow side, Supreme is a bit wider than Vapor and Nexus is the widest of them all. Also, if you wear a 9 shoe you would typically be a 7.5 skate as you want to go down 1.5 sizes from shoe size. In regards to baking the skates, please don't do it at home. Its so easy to make a mistake and ruin your expensive hockey skates. Get them done at a pro shop so you can know its done right. Thanks!

I was reviewing pour Senior Ice hockey skates sales and saw Bauer X600 at one price - $329 and another one at $209. Why the price difference. Is one upgraded X600? Something else differs? Please let me know.

One is the 2017 model versus the 2015 model. The newer model has updated features
