what size blades do you get for half size skates. 8.5

Asked by: grant
Skate holders are typically just based off the full size. I would suggest checking on the bottom of your holder to be sure of the number because the width of your skate may change the holder size used. If you use a D width skate the holder number should be 272mm and if you use an EE skate you may have a 280mm holder. If 272, buy size 8. If 280, buy size 9. Thanks!

I have a us 9.5 skate. What size blade

Asked by: Gerry
You'll most likely need a size 9.0/280 steel. You should be able to find the "mm" size engraved on the part of the holder that sits against the boot.

Hello, I have the Bauer x900 skates and I want to replace the steel, should I go with the steel size 6 or 5 because there is no 5.5

Asked by: Jake and bake
You want to go by boot size . Senior 6 and 6.5 are the same steel . Junior skates size 5 and 5.5 are the same steel also .

If I have a 7.5 Bauer boot what size blade should I order (they only come in whole sizes)?

Asked by: Nmwp
Hello, Thank you for the question. Take a look at the bottom of the holder near the heel(look straight down at the rivets) and you will see a number at the back. If the number is 263 then you would want a size 7 and if its 272 you would want a size 8. Thank you, Tyler
