SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bargain of the year! I have CCM feet - a suddenly wide forefoot starting at the arch. I've been wearing the 2005(?) Pro Tacks size 6.5 (top of the line at the time) once a week in an old man's rent out for the past 12 years or so. Best skate I had ever worn - felt right the moment I first put my foot in them, but they're breaking down finally. I've been looking for a replacement CCM skate for at least a year now, I knew it was going to be difficult to find the exact same fit. After trying on every skate imaginable (at local Pure Hockey store - even Bauers!) I was getting discouraged. Then I saw this awesome Jetspeed deal come across in an email and I thought I'd take a chance. There were none in the store so I ordered 2 pair (6.0 and 6.5) on line since they were such a bargain (and Connie McDavid flies in them). My Pro Tacks are size 6.5. The 6.0 Jetspeed I ordered fits perfectly (so half a size smaller than my Tacks, I had read that skates are running a half size larger than in past and it is true in this case). I am a size 9 shoe but only because my 2nd toe is longer than big toe, otherwise I'd be an 8.5 shoe. So I'm 2.5 to 3.0 smaller in this skate than my shoe size. They are light (740 grams vs 800 in my Pro Tacks, I weighed them myself) and awesome to behold, a beautiful skate. Great heal lock, great forefoot wrap and a most comfortable toe box. My foot is locked down into the skate but all my toes are moving and grooving! Snap these babies up while they're still available. Guys, find a way to afford the top of the line skates always. They are worth it and if you wear them 400+ times like I have, it works out to like a buck fifty a game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CCM JetSpeed Skate For a long time CCM has seemed to be just a bit behind other companies, Bauer specifically, when it comes to skates. That has all changed with CCM’s newest line, the JetSpeed skate. This is a product that players of the elite level will fall in love with immediately. Anyone who is familiar with CCM skates knows the biggest down fall of their older products (RBZ line) was the overall fit of the skate. The JetSpeed skate is completely different in its fit to the foot with the RocketFrame technology it has incorporated. A revolutionary design has made the fit of the JetSpeed skate significantly tighter around the foot with the biggest change being the tightness in the heel to eliminate any excess movement. The first time I wore the skate it felt a bit awkward changing over from Bauer MX3 skates, but after an hour or so I fell in love. The way the skate wraps around the foot seems to eliminate any lag time on strides and will help players to reduce any wasted energy. Along with the great fit of the JetSpeed skates the feel and comfortability rivals any pair of skates you will ever wear. The skates come with a standard insole when purchasing the skates, but CCM also will include its own CurrexSole footbed insoles that will have your feet falling in love. Added arch support and flexibility allows the insole to form a custom mold to your distinct foot shape. The first few times skating with the CurrexSole insoles in the skates there may be some small discomfort in the arch of your foot, however do not be alarmed. I found it was like breaking in a new pair of shoes and after a few days the insole has completely fit around my foot and makes the skate worth every penny. For many high end players the biggest question is durability and these skates are up to the challenge. The boot of the skate takes abuse very well and shows no signs of wear and tear. The only negative aspect I have found so far was the steel. The Hyperglide steel broke after three skates and from a personal preference I would possibly recommend changing it out, but that is my own view. Other than the steel I have found nothing to subpar and will continue to wear CCM products.

What is the difference between this skate and the FT390?

Asked by: Vearl
With this skate you'll receive CCM's Custom Footbeds and you won't on the FT390. The tendon guard is also slightly different on this skate. Other than that there isn't much of a difference.

If I wear a 6.0 D in the CCM RBZ, will I wear a 6.0 D in the JetSpeed?

Asked by: CCM Chris
Sizing from RBZ to Jetspeed is pretty different. I would highly recommend that you try the Jetspeed on before you buy. I wore a 7 in the RBZ and an 8 in the Jetspeed.
