JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunately, the most uncomfortable skates I have ever owned I have baked these skates three times, warn them around the house about 10 hours and on the ice about 30 hours. And they are still as uncomfortable as the day I first tried them on. I was told to give them time and allow them to be broken in. Unfortunately, they have broken me (down). I can't stand to wear these skates any more. I'm going back to my old Reeboks. The Reeboks aren't great skates, but at least my feet aren't numb for days after wearing them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice step Up replaced my Vapor instincts with these, and am very pleased. Im playing Hockey and training 3 times a week with emphasis on skating skills and endurance. the weight difference is tangible. The blade holds a 1/2 inch cut glides and digs in with no problem. I use waxed laces for tightness, I baked them myself as always and Ive worn them 3 times. The break in is about 85 percent. I leave the top hole unlaced and can do great edge work and drills in all directions. For the price, it is well worth the investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stiffness for the price I've used these for a half season now and am very impressed with the stiffness they offer. Swapped the insole for something with a bit more arch support and my feet thanked me. The exterior is pretty frail though, it gets cut and gashed very easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good These are my first skates as an adult so I have little to compare to. I am a picky consumer and these appear to be a quality skate. I have a normal to narrow foot and these fit very well. Heal box is a little tight but no problems. Tongue was stiff causing pressure point on top of foot, this was resolved by manually flexing each tongue for 5 minutes to soften material. I would recommend to others with similar foot size/shape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skate for the price! Fantastic skate - have skated in this line for years and moved to this one and it's a great fit and feels comfortable from day one. Went to my local Hockey Giant and they didn't have my size but told me I could get them on the site and then bring them in when they arrive to be heat molded and sharpened! Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the Kid Wanted a skate that he would be able to use and still support his continued growing... Reasonably, priced in regards to comparable skates. He is on the ice 4 to 5 days a week for practice and/or games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Use them out of the box My son was able to take the skates out of the box and wear them in summer hockey camp with no blisters or sore feet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good skates These are good skates with the removable blades which makes it nice for longer term use.

What are the key differences between the Nexus and Vapor lines of hockey skates?
Asked by: Jim Hand_6363
Fit is the main difference. The Nexus line is deeper and wider, offering a traditional fit. The Vapor line is "tapered", with a V shaped fit from heel to toe. The heel in the Vapor skates is relatively narrow and the boot is progressively wider toward the
