SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally skates for people with wide feet! I have VERY wide feet and these are without a doubt the highest volume skate ever made. It's very accoumdating to people with big wide feet. The reason I went with the Nexus N8000 over the N7000 is because it is fully thermoformable inside and out so I can get a unique custom fit on my duck feet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No more foot pain If you have a high volume foot this is the skate for you. Coming from Reebok 9k (which I loved but were causing some foot issues)to this skate was an easy transition. Chose the 8000 over the 7000 for the liner and bit stiffer Teflon mesh. I have no complaints.... have a professional assist with the heat molding process, get a footbed and have happy Fred Flintsone feet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight -comfortable skates I have skated in these skated 5 times, and are very happy with them, great support and comfortable ligt weight, however I do reccomend you get them heated to your feet, a lot composite material so a bit stiff when you first get them. A good $400 skate would be a great $300 skate.

N8000 vs the N7000: Understanding comfort is subjective, from a comfort standpoint, Is it worth spending the extra 200$ for N8000's and their thermal molding abilities vs the N7000 or is there not that much difference between these two skates

Asked by: John
Hello, Thank you for the question. If you are purely looking for a more heat reactive and moldable skate the N8000 would be your best bet. I can't say the $200 is worth it for just the molding advantages but the skate as a whole is better and worth the upgrade. Thank you, Tyler

I have wide feet and I m ow that the Nexus line of skates is for people with wider feet. I have a pair of skates thats an E width. But if I buy a D width will it be too narrow or if I buy a EE width will it be too wide.

Asked by: Maxfbird27
Hello, Thank you for the question. Nexus is the widest skate Bauer offers at the retail level. Sorry to say but I won't know if this would fit you correctly without having fit you myself. If you are local to a store I would suggest you visit and try a few pairs on. Try a Supreme and Nexus and see what fits the best. Thank you, Tyler
