This is amazingly protective yet supple glove. The thumb lock works as advertised. The protection was proven my first week in them when I took a snap shot across the knuckles. Amazing protection, w/great palm feel! you'll be hard pressed to get a better glove at this price!

OK I'm NOT Parise. I havebeen in the market for a new pair of mitts since my Warrior Bonafide's palms wore out after 1 year. I only play once a week so I was quite dissapointed after finding a pair that don't restrict rotation with my elbow pads. "I tried Easton's and that was a NO GO" The Winnwell's fit a bit snug through the palms "feels good" they have thicker "leather" on teh palms where the stick goes. First time on the ice they felt GREAT. Light weight, good mobility, and great feel on the stick! I hope these last for a couple of years!...for the price they were a STEAL! On sale under $50, that is half the price of the Warriors.... this is my first time using Winwell products, and so far I am impressed.

These gloves are amazing!! Comfortable, great padding, palm of glove made well and sturdy. You can remove thumb lock for more movement. This is a pro stock glove you can own without spending a lot of money.

I just started playing hockey and in my search for good equipment without breaking the wallet, Winnwell kept coming up in my research. With the pros now wearing these gloves and the Youtube and blog reviews, I really felt I was going to get an awsome glove for not a lot of money. Well, everthing they say about the glove is true!! Great fit, mobility, protection and value. I bought them in black and navy on sale. I have a pair of CCM U+ 08's I wore once and then sold. I loved the Winnwell gloves more. I have Winnwell prostock pads too and they are equal in quality and protection. I bought the higher end gear because I will be playing 3-4 days a week and I am traditionally rough on gear, so far I am a fan. tGet on this band wagon.

I've long admired Winnwell equipment, and this is just the latest. Every bit as comfortable as the high-end, big-name, gloves. Nice traditional roomy fit, with responsive palm, and lightweight. I have more than one pair--a bargain.
