Winnwell Pro Hockey Goal
July 19, 2014
My son is on his 2nd of these nets. The extra netting keeps a lot of puck from flying past the net. It was easy to set up and is a good net for roller or a short term hockey net (usting pucks).. First one he got as a 2nd year squirt and it was destroyed in about a year and a half, Hard shot leave dents. the metal clips that hold the net on began to break off immediately if hit with a hard shot. Then you have to zip tie the net in place - a hockey puck that hits a zip tie breaks it immediatley. So it is just a matter of time before the net breaks down., But for the money I thought it was fine.j Second one we got he was a PW and it destoryed it in about 9 months. Final blow was a slap shot the hit the rear lower bar and went flying off when hit and left a big dent in the leg of the ping pong table that was 20' away. This is a good net for roller or younger players. It will not last for PW or older playres shooting real pucks, it is not built to take the punishment.

not for ice pucks

This may be an alright net for a roller hockey guy, but I have shot about 40 ice pucks at it and there are huge dings in the piping. I am pretty sure after another 100 shots this thing will be useless...
