Too cheap.
December 3, 2013
I've only had these for one season: 2 of the inner pads have ripped off and 2 of the upper plastic buckles have broken completely. I have no idea why there are 2 PLASTIC buckles on the top of each of these pads. Leather buckles have worked since the beginning of hockey, why switch over to plastic buckles that are the same cheap ones they use for bookbags? The plastic buckles broke almost immediately because they are not fit to handle the pressure of your leg bending down quickly, even when they are lose. Aside from those buckles, the pads handled themselves well.
Handle being hit by pucks well, no tearing/ripping on the outside
Plastic buckles at the top.

tour pads

They are great pads for the price. Super light weight, and they are quite sturdy for how cheap they are. They aren't good for the butterfly style goalies. I use them for inline hockey and the only way to use them as butterfly is to tie the toe ties in a certain way.

Good value for price

I bought these as my first ice hockey pads and was surprised by weight. They're very light and have nice durable straps and comfortable thigh protectors. However I'm not sure if theyll hold up in ice hockey. Material is unique to most pads. I'm going to try them anyway but I think they'll be perfect for street or roller hockey. Good pads and definitely worth price.

I bought a set of these about 9 years ago and they have lasted this long and are still in good shape. Great starter pads and the best affordable roller hockey pad out there.
