Quick and easy

So ignore the reviews that talk about how hard this is to put on. This is just like regripping golf clubs. Put the two faced tape on, then spray the tape and the inside of the grip with WD-40. Slide the grip over the end, a screwdriver can help stretch it to get it started, then just pull it down. The WD-40 will dry and the grip will stick just fine. Now that you have it installed, it works great, non intrusive and grippy. Plus a lot less time and work then taping. Outstanding product for the price!

Don't waste your time
February 24, 2015
Thought this was going to be a great product to try out and after 45 minutes I gave up before I ended up breaking my sticks in frustrating. Purchased three of these, tried on two different sticks and have two ripped grips that are going in the garbage along with the unopened 3rd grip. Why on earth would you make a round grip to go over a rectangular stick??? Followed the directions and added water to the tape to make it slick. The problem is it's a round grip trying to go over a stick. I'll be sticking with tape until the design changes.
Cheap, only out a few bucks and an hour of my time.

Nice grip, easy on the gloves
October 13, 2014
I always use these grips on my sticks instead of tape because the glue residue from the tape is supposed to deteriorate the palms of your gloves. This tackimac has just enough grip to it. Although it is a little difficult to put on, it is worth it.

Great Grip

Both my kids use these now, superior grip and doesn't wreck the palm of their gloves like tape did. No problem sliding them on either.

Sweet stuff

Wow, phenomenal grip when couPled with a good pair of gloves, just applied it and my only issue was I couldn't get the whole piece on. Butt end didn't make it even with the force of 2 men. So I recommend sanding lightly the area that will recieve this grip. Had I done that it would have slid in no problems. Will do next time. Absolute buy!!!

BETTER Than Tape
July 23, 2010
I switched to these grips about 3 years ago and will never go back to tape. They may be extra tacky to start but it will go away. The best thing is that the acid in the tape glue no longer destroys the palms of my gloves!!

These do add a ton of grip, but to me that's a bad thing. They are very tacky and it feels like your top hand is glued in the same position. Also it makes my stick feel disconnected from my hands. I like tape better, I feel closer to the stick

Great Tape Alternative
April 1, 2009
I've been using these for a few months now, and they are a big improvement over tape. Your top hand does not twist, which gives means shots are going to be more accurate and a lot less wear and tear on the gloves.

How long is the grip? From the picture it looks as if the grip is fatter at the butt and them slims as it goes down the shaft, is this correct?
By Customer Service on February 5, 2014

It's approximately 7" long. The butt-end has a small knob at the top, just like you'd find on most players' sticks when they tape the handle.
