This stick is awesome!
January 15, 2016
I bought this stick a few weeks ago in the PP09 version and wanted a stick with a little different curve to try out so I bought it again with the PP77 curve. Its been awesome. Nice feel. Great to take passes and to shoot. And its going to last a good long time. I am definitely going back to this stick over and over.
Light(but not the lightest) Durable Looks good Immediately able to play well with it

First stick
September 10, 2014
I started playing hockey a couple months ago and although it's my first stick, I don't think I'm going to bother ever looking at a composite. This does everything I need it to do. I thought I'd have to worry about it being fragile since it's wood but it can take a beating.

Do you feel lucky, punk?

This stick is the Clint Eastwood of hockey sticks: old school kick-ass. Yeah, these don't last as long as the composites, but Paul Coffee was a legend with this stick for a reason (and it wasn't just the price)! This is one wooden stick that is as good as or better than the composites for feel, accuracy, passing, slap shots, power and shut the hell up punk, I just scored with this old $30 stick!

Amazing hockey stick, best wood stick on the market! I prefer this than composites for its durability and wood feel.

can this be used for ice hockey
By Customer Service on July 24, 2015

Absolutely. Some players prefer the feel of wood sticks out on the ice.

What are the length options on these?
By Jeremiah at on April 25, 2013

The Sherwood 5030 Senior Stick is 59".

By Anthony from Australia on May 25, 2014
Does this stick come longer then 59" ? The height to my chin is 170cm which is 67" :(
By Customer Service on May 30, 2014

59" is the measurement of the shaft, but when the stick is upright with the toe of the blade on the ground and the shaft parallel to your body, it is closer to 65" from the ground to the top of the shaft.

By Jake Landozer from york, PA on October 15, 2014
How much does the stick weigh in grams?

By Customer Service on October 16, 2014

Approximately 665 Grams

Please explain the blade chart. What is meant by a 0.5 depth and regular or heel talon type?
By Customer Service on January 27, 2014

.5 = 1/2 Inch Depth. This is a measurement of the extremity of the curve. If you measure the deepest part of the curve, it's 1/2" deep.

Lie is a representative measurement of the angle of the blade in relation to the shaft. Here's an image that will help you understand lie.

Just ignore the info to the right of the /. It's the French translation.
