SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 7 to 13 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 2 to 7 years old with a US youth shoe size of 7 to 1.5.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Very nice skates. Worth every penny.

My old CCM Super Tacks (892) had served me well for years of amateur adult league play. But the tongues had grown thin and I was starting to get painful lace bite on the fronts of my ankles. It was time to upgrade. I went to my local skate shop and tried on half a dozen different brands and models, and the Reeboks were the most comfortable to my foot. Actually, the shop had the less well-made 14Ks, and the top-of-the-line 20Ks, but I wanted something in-between, so I got them here on Hockey Giant. I was looking to invest in something that would last a long time and be very comfortable, and these fit that bill. At first I thought the "pump" was a gimmick that I would not use, but it is actually helpful after all. It seems to lock in my ankle a little better, once the skates are already laced up. I "baked" them myself in my electric oven (I know this is not recommended, but I monitored the temperature carefully and never went over 180 F or so) for about 10 minutes, laced them up tight, then took them off and let them sit over night. Got them sharpened (the first time will cost you a little extra because the skate shop needs to grind out the "hollow" that is not present in new blades. First time on the ice: they were smooth as butter. There has been virtually no break-in period. After one skate on them, they fit like a glove, and I have NO MORE LACE BITE. Excellent investment.
Pros:
Extra thick pad on front of tongue protects against lace bite and pucks. Light weight. Extremely hard and protective on the outside, but comfortable on the inside. Nice unobtrusive design on the sides. I'm not sure how necessary it is, but the lace lock works well.
Cons:
I don't know if this is a function of the blades being new, the quality of the metal, or the workmanship of my local skate shop, but after that first sharpening, the blades needed sharpening again after only three skates on them. To be fair, those three skates were on very cold, hard ice, so maybe this is to be expected.

Best skate for the price point

Much better than my bauer. I switched from a one70 so it wasn't apples to apples exactly. The bauer hurt the arches of my feet and flat out were less comfortable. This skate is extremely stiff, yet very comfy feel. Very responsive without being unforgiving. My favorite skate to date. 1st day on the ice they already felt broken in because of the heavy tongue padding, and new pump system. 20k value at 17k Price... no brainer.
Pros:
light fast stiff responsive comfortable lace locks pump system
Cons:
blade holders, Im not a big fan of the side plate screws that hold the blade in place. Seems like a flawed design versus a bauer here.
