Excellent Blades
November 24, 2012
These skates are cheaper than the APX yet I don't notice any difference in the way they perform on the ice. Unfortuately my budget doesn't allow me to buy the top of the line Bauer skate but these are an excellent compromise. Light, protective, comfortable and responsive these skates have it all. They break in easily and use the Tuuk blade and holder like it's more expensive cousin the APX. The slim new tongue eliminates any lacebite and the skate looks so cool. How could you ask for anything more. Very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this skate if it's in your price range. This is a fairly stiff skate so I wouldn't recommend them for a beginner.

Amazing
May 2, 2011
Just purchased these skates yesterday and had a light skate to test these bad boys out today. No complaints, very very nice skate. I love it and everything about it. Very similar to the APX in terms of looks and also way cheaper. I'll recommend these skates any day.

What is the difference between the Vapor X 70 and Vapor X 7.0?
By Jeremiah at HockeyGiant.com on May 8, 2013
Answer:
The X 7.0 is from the last generation of Vapor Skates and the X 70 is from the current generation. The X 7.0 was released right below the top of the line model APX, while the X 70 is near the middle of the new line, below the X 80, X 90, X 100 and APX2 Skates. With that said, the material quality, weight, boot support, responsiveness to baking, durability and overall performance of the X 7.0 Skates will be superior to that of the X 70 Skates.
