SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Great skates
May 6, 2015
These skates are really good if you ask me. I have never played hockey before and am 15 years old, so these are my first pair of skates ever. I played my first game with them and they worked great.

Great Skates
October 23, 2014
They are nice skates and they have good ankle support. They slide smoothly and are tight but not too tight. These skates are good from beginners, and I highly recommend them to any player.
Smooth slide, Nice weels, pretty good fabric

Awesome skates
September 7, 2014
These skates have decent quality indoor/outdoor wheels. The skates are light weight and offer great ankle support under high intensity skating. I use these almost daily outdoors while few times per week switching the wheels for indoor roller hockey games! Definite value for your money- highly recommend them.
light weight, decent wheels, good ankle support

I have a size 11.5 regular size shoe. What would be the size for these skates?

By Customer Service on November 17, 2014

Size 10 would be the recommended size for most people wearing 11.5 Shoes.

I wear a size 9.5 shoe, what does that translate in to the E sizes listed above? What is recommended?
By Customer Service on August 11, 2014

Size 8.0 E would likely be the best size for you. The E width isn't overwhelmingly wide, if that's your concern. The E width in Mission skates provides a roomy fit, but it works very well for the majority of the skaters who use them.

If I wear a regular size 11 shoe. What would be the right size for me to order for this skate ? Sizing charts are a little confusing.
By Customer Service on February 23, 2015

Mission recommends going 1.5 sizes down from your shoe size to find your skate size.

By Brandi Owens from Pearland on July 8, 2014
are these skates made for skating in a roller rink?
By Customer Service on July 10, 2014

When you say "roller rink", are you talking about a recreational public skating session at a rink with wood floors/tiles? If so, they would certainly work in that scenario. The wheels that they come with are designed for indoor use on sport court and ice court tiles.

is the size chart based on men's shoe sizes? I wear a size 9.5 (US) in women's shoes what size would I order?
By Customer Service on December 31, 2014

The sizing guide would be based off of mens sizing, so If you wear a womens 9.5 (US) shoe, you would be in a size 6.0-6.5 skate.

Hi, would I be able to change the wheel setup on this skate to a straight 80mm set-up on the HI-LO frame or to be able to do this would I need a whole new frame altogether?
By Customer Service on July 16, 2014

Unfortunately that is not possible with the Hi-Lo chassis. If you put 80mm wheels in the front, they would be too big to fit into the chassis without rubbing against the underside of the boot. You would need a Labeda Chassis.

I wear a nike size 12 sneaker. Would a size 11 work for me in these?
By Customer Service on September 3, 2015

Typically, you will want to go 1.5 sizes down from shoe size with Mission skates, but depending on your personal preference, 11 may work. Some prefer a loose fit while others like their skates snug.

By Jake from AZ on February 23, 2014
This skate only appears to come in E width. Why is this, and for a person who wears a size 10 shoe (I assume that translates to an 8.5 R typically for Mission), would you still recommend a particular size in the E width?
By Customer Service on February 27, 2014

Yes, 8.5 E would be the correct size in this skate. This model of Mission skates was produced in E only, but the width is barely wider than Standard D width in other brands. They're about the same width as Tour and Reebok D/R width Skates.
