SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Good solid skate...
July 26, 2014
This is a good solid skate, the chassis is thicker and stronger than the AC6, and they fir nicely. The wheels are a softer wheel but its a cleaner glide, I would recommend this skate for any hockey player going indoor or outdoor just make sure you put the right wheels on.
Pros:
Thicker and Stronger Chassis
Cons:
The wheels are more for indoor use but you can change the wheels and play outdoor with this skate,

I saw you answered another person's question about the width of the skate and how even though it's an "E" width it's not particularly wide. How would this compare to the width of the Bauer vapor line? I'm also looking at the X60 and a closeout pair of XR5's -- the X60 comes in a D width and XR5 is available in EE. My foot usually measures for an E width but I have tried on a pair of D-width X70 Vapors and they were snug, but not terrible. Any advice on the width of these? The only reason I had considered the Missions was because of the supposedly wider width.
By Customer Service on March 31, 2014

Answer:
Mission Skates in D width run just a hair wider than the Bauer Vapor Skates in D width. The Mission Skates in E width are of course just a bit wider than the Mission D width, but not quite as wide as the Bauer EE width. It sounds like you would find that the Mission E Width is probably the perfect fit for your foot. That probably sounds a bit confusing, so I'll place them in order from narrowest to widest:

Bauer D
Mission D
Mission E
Bauer EE
Mission EE

Hello,
Will this skate work for someone about 230lbs?

By Aaron @ HockeyGiant.com on August 28, 2013

Answer:
This skate would indeed work for someone 230lbs, Depending on frequency and style of play, we would more than likely recommend going up another model (AC4) for the added stiffness, support and durability.

Does this model come in any other width size than the wide E?
By Customer Service on February 17, 2014

Answer:
It only comes in E width, but it's actually between the standard D width and E width that you would find with any other skate model. So, it's not actually a particularly wide skate.

Hi,
Is the "E" width missions general sizing or is that what hockey giant has in stock right now? How would these fit someone who normally wears a regular? Thanks
By Customer Service on November 10, 2014

Answer:
The Mission E width on this skate is comparable to a Bauer Supreme E Width. So they're just a hair wider than Supreme D Width Skates and they comfortably accommodate almost every foot type.
