Green Biscuit Off-Ice Practice Puck

The Green Biscuit is an off-ice training hockey puck that will help you and your team develop better stick handling and passing skills that will blow your competition away. The Biscuit weighs about an ounce less than an official hockey puck but with the added friction from the concrete or asphalt it acts just like the real thing does on ice.

The Green Biscuit is not designed for shooting. It's a stick handling and passing puck. Your surface doesn't have to be anywhere near perfect for the green biscuit, but the better the surface, the better the performance. Practice your stick handling and passing with the Green Biscuit and watch your team win more games.

Try it and you will agree!

  • GB will slide effortlessly on virtually any hard surface (driveways, streets).
  • GB makes off ice training convenient and fun.
  • GB feels and acts like a real puck.
  • GB slides further and smoother than any other dryland training puck.
  • GB gets Dad and Mom involved. Now you can pass the biscuit with him/her.

Son loves to use this puck - used on concrete and rough roads, with stood 13 year old boys playing for over a year. Finally broke after much street play, but I couldn't find a better replacement.

great for practicing stick handling
January 20, 2016
There is no better roller hockey puck on the market for practicing passing and stick handling. It slides great and doesn't go up on it's edge, even on rough pavement. However, do not shoot this puck, or it will most definitely shatter.

Can't have enough of these around
December 5, 2015
My boys love the green biscuit. We've probably gone through 30 of them in the last 5 years. They use them all the time for stuck handling and shooting on our driveway. The major problem is that they do crack and will break in half. I'm noticing as the kids get older, bigger, stronger, this has become more of a problem. We have tried the snipe (more rubber one) and regular pucks, but nothing else slides like the biscuit.

Effective and cheaper than building a rink.
December 16, 2014
I've had the sniper biscuit and this one. I like this one. The sniper is made for shooting but doesn't glide very well and doesn't feel as close to ice as the original green biscuit. I have a ROUGH concrete paved driveway and the green biscuit glides over it really well. Is it the same as the rink? Well no. I don't own a rink though and they frown greatly on slinging pucks during public skate so, this is what I got and I'm happy with it. Helps with puck handling, not made for shooting but my 10 year son uses it for that occasionally and hasn't broken it yet, wouldn't recommend slap shots or an adult shooting hard with it. Inside the garage the concrete is very smooth and then this green biscuit acts more like a ice puck, not quite the same as ice again, but closer, so physics is still a thing and the less friction on the surface the better this practice puck will act like an ice puck.
Durable if used as intended. Durable even if you don't use it as intended. Aids with puck handling in absence of a rink, and cheaper and smaller than a shooting or puckhandling mat. Glides even on rough concrete really well.

Great for the driveway

This has been great for the kids on the driveway. Its exactly what they needed, the weight of a real puck, but able to slide smoothly on the driveway.

Best puck ever!
July 28, 2014
It's the greatest training product I've ever used. feels just like it's gliding on ice. It's durable and worth it . But make sure not to shoot it or pass it off the curb too hard or it'll chip.
Durable, cheap
Chips after a while

Awesome for asphalt/cement
July 28, 2014
This is the best puck available to practice stick handling on rough surfaces. The puck has two halves joined by a center section that provides a little bit of suspension so it doesn't flip up or roll when you hit uneven surfaces. I sometimes bring it with me to work and practice on my breaks.
Great value for how well it works.
If you want to shoot with it get the harder snipe model.

Awesome Puck!
December 27, 2013
I bought it mainly for my sons who are in ice hockey and need to practice more. I have HATED using flat-style pucks on dry land in the past, as they are constantly rolling and flipping, etc. This thing does NOT roll. It gives you good practice on stick-handling, passing, and receiving a puck, which street hockey balls do not. Also, great practice with shooting, although lighter than a regulation puck. I would highly recommend this puck!
--I messed it up shooting a couple slappers--but it's my fault, as the backstop was cement.

perfect for asphalt or driveway
January 6, 2013
this puck literally has helped my stick handling, passing, and dekes so much since i've had it. when I first used it, i couldnt believe how well it handled and slid on our driveway. slides better than pucks on ice occasionally.

good for passing
June 23, 2011
bought this because of all the great reviews i have seen. It works surprisingly well on pavement and hard surfaces. I think its a great passing tool but it lacks in the stick handling area. if you want to get quick hands use the smarthockey ball. accurate passes then use this

Green Biscuit

The streets in my neighborhood are pretty darned rough, and this puck slid almost perfectly on the asphalt. It did take a bad bounce occasionally when it hit an especially rough patch, but one really can't complain about that kind of inevitability. Even though it says it's not for shooting, as long as you're not taking 100mph slapshots with it then it will hold up just fine.

This has got to be the greatest stick handling tool I have ever seen or used. It glides almost effortlessly even on my tile floor. Although my wife doesn't care for that part. took it to the street and just as smooth. I have been out of the game for a while and this is the perfect tool to get me back on track. AWESOME.

Green Biscuit
February 4, 2011
This is an amazingly affective training tool for all skill levels. A little extra stick handling or passing practice never hurt anybody. I was surprised on how smooth it slides on asphalt, and it slides even better on a cement surface like a tennis court or garage floor. It really gives you time to work on some of the skills that you don't get to when you're on the ice. Just be sure to use tape on your stick and try not to lift it often or shoot it, because like most other things made of plastic, it will break if you beat on it after a while. Otherwise very good!

Words can't describe how well this replicates the feel of a 6oz vulcanized rubber biscuit. Anything smoother than gravel and you're in good shape. Open ice that allows sticks and pucks is tough to find, so on inlines in my driveway with an ABS stick the green biscuit doesn't bounce, doesn't roll, and feels great. You can't shoot it, which is a bummer, but not worth decreasing the rating. The ideal off-ice practice puck.

without tape on your stick you can not get any grip on the puck. but other than that it is the best off-ice puck i have ever used, its worth the money.

My friend first told me about this and let me borrow his and it is the coolest puck I've ever worked with off the ice. It works smoothly on even the roughest torn up asphalt of my rink's parking lot. It is designed for just stickhandling and passing, but it has become by far my most favorite dryland puck
