SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Awesome skates

Bought them online and had them heat molded to my feet. Just played first time wearing skates...no break in time needed...good to go. Sturdy. Stiff. Laces held well too. I just love these skates. Made in Canada...good quality. John
Pros:
Comfort, weight, performance
Cons:
Hard to find on sale

Excellent Skate

My son started using Grafs at 9 years old - he's now 21, playing college hockey and still on those Grafs. I will always believe that his skating ability was due to the forward cant of the Graf boot and the stiffness of the 705's. He's now on G5s for the last 7 years. It's wonderful that a company can stay with the same boot last all these years so every new pair is consistent with the last one in fit and function.

I have a question about Graf sizing. I skated on Grafs for about 12 years and recently bought a pair of the Ultra G75. I had been wearing a 7.5 in the 703 model. They always pinched and when I bought the G75 I first tried an 8 which also pinched and went to a 9, which is a little too big. I'm passing them off to my son. My question is I wear a size 9 shoe (athletic, casual, or dress) and I'm wondering if a size 8 in the G35s model will be comfortable. I'm worried that an 8.5 would be too big. I know Graf fits a little closer to shoe size. I have a higher instep, but an otherwise undistinguished foot. Thank you for your help. I'd like to buy a pair while you have them and they are on sale. Answer:
The Graf 703 Skates are one of the narrowest, shallowest models that Graf makes. So, it makes sense that you might have issues with pinching, as you said. The fit of the G75 is more middle-of-the-road when compared to the 703, but still, not quite as wide as you may need. The G35 Skates are comparable to the overall width of the G75 Skates, but the G35 boot is softer and will break in more easily, likely providing a more comfortable fit for you.

If needed, you can even have the hot spots punched out if you have a local pro shop that can do that for you. When you have a pair of skates punched out, that basically just means that a reverse vice grip is used to stretch out the tight parts of the boot to allow your feet to fit more comfortably.

I would recommend the size 8, as Graf suggests going 1 size down from your U.S. Men's Shoe Size.
