SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 7 to 13 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 2 to 7 years old with a US youth shoe size of 7 to 1.5.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Great traditional style skate.

Best pair of skates, after a year of use, still firm, no signs of wear.
Phenomenal boots. Durable, like wearing slippers.
Cobra steel/holders need to be tightened often.

I have somewhat wide, flat feet, and I'm trying to decide between the Graf 735 Supra IX (in a wide) and a Bauer Nexus 600. Any idea which would be best for wide feet? And if it's true that the Nexus' are cut wider, would the D be sufficient?

I have flat, wide feet as well and the Nexus skates in D width were great for me. I previously wore Graft 727 skates in D width and they were very comparable in terms of the overall fit.

Will this skate fit well a foot with a narrow ankle but wide toes?
By Jeremiah at on June 5, 2013

Yes, Graf describes the 735 as follows:

  • Heel Fit: Narrow
  • Heel Backstay Shape: Pronounced
  • Heel Instep Depth: Medium

Graf skates tend to provide a generous amount of room in the toe box.
