SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

My teenage son is onto his 3rd pair of Graf 705's. They have been a good skate for him.
Pros:
Consistent product line, Durable, Flexible (comfortable) boot, Mostly a good fit.
Cons:
Pricey, heavy, narrow toe box even in the regular size range, discontinued product.

Graf 705 Supra Senior Hockey Skates

Bought these a year ago. Played in 60 games in an adult Silver beer league. Good skate, but overpriced for the fit. Narrow toe box. OUCH! After half a dozen tuneups at the retailer and that many punch outs in the boot to alleviate pain, I am retiring these and getting a different brand altogether.
Pros:
Traditional old Bauer fit. Quality materials.
Cons:
Never fit right, narrow toe box.

what is the difference between the Graf705 and Graf735?

By Customer Service on July 14, 2014

Answer:
The main difference would be the instep depth. Here's a link to a Fit Chart provided by Graf. Also, according to Graf the 705 will have more forward pitch, meaning it will put you on your toes a bit more than the 735, but we feel that the two are very comparable in that aspect. Also, the quarter packages are made of different material, but that's a fairly negligible difference in terms of the way the boots will perform. So it really just comes down to fit. If you need more depth, go with the 735.
