SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Nice Blades
November 19, 2012
I bought these skates because they where a better deal than the Bauer skates I was looking at( that where the same level of skate). They also felt better intially when I was trying on different brands. Man did I make a good decision. These babies perform every bit as well as my old Vapor 50's and are just as light. They are made rock solid, offering great looks and protection. I 've never had a pair of skates like this that where super comfortable from the beginning with no hot spots or lace bite issues. The more I wear them the better they get for fit as well. Ankle support is superb and the blades and holders have given me no problems and perform beautifully. The only issue was to adjust to the slightly forward contour compared to my old Bauers but that took about ten minutes and I was good to go. In fact I perfer this feel over the one on my old skates because I manoevour much better in tight spots agains't the boards and in the corners. If I had known how good Easton skates where I would have switched a long time ago. Love these puppies to death. I highly recommend them for hockey right up to pro level.

First season on ice, playing adult silver b. did alot of research on a couple different pairs of boots before I made a purchase. It came down to the easton Eq40s or a pair of Bauer. These felt realy comfortable rite out of the box, even before baking them. i was kinda skeptical on buying these because there isnt alot of reviews on these and I dont realy see alot of people using them so I felt they werent as popular as bauers line of boots. When it came down to it I personlly felt that these were going to be comfortable in the long run and I wanted somthing different from what everyone else has. So after getting them.baked and a couple games later, these are a great pair of boots. They are realy realy light, I haul ass in these bad boys, and overall I feel like a made a great decision with these. I would recomend these, although ive never worn anything else cuz this is my first season playing on ice. Not any reviews on them so I thought id spread some news on these bad boys. ~Peace

Is the sizing on this similar to the Bauer Vapor line? I currently use Bauer Vapor XXV in a size 8.5 D. They are quite snug and I use a thin sock. Would you recommend the same size in the EQ line?

The EQ40 Skates run just a bit wider than the Vapor XXV Skates. They ought to give you the extra room you're looking for in size 8.5 D.
