really nice helmet but slim fitting! stay away if bauer helmets dont fit you!

im not all that happy with my s17, the first one i got from the supplier had a crack where the tooless adjusting flap was and the replacement they sent me was also broken (which suggests a weak plastic outer). i now have a functioning replacement which is comfy when you get used to it. only major problem i have is that the helmet adjusts itself on the rink which can become a pain the the a**. sharp looking helmet tho. i prefer the mission intake for sure!

good hellmet but i would wait a few months for the new s19 helmet it is as light as a hat an mor padding than the s17

Pros

This helmet looks great and is protective. It's light comes in a variety of colors and has decent ventilation. It has tooless adjustment and mounting on a cage or face shield is reasonably easy.

Cons

This is a slim fitting helmet so if you have a larger head the helmet will feel a bit tight. The inside padding needs improvement, it's not very soft and you almost feel like your against the EPP liner, however the helmet won't twist because of the tighter fit. The back head adjustment works alright to hold your head in nicely and has three different adjustments for different size heads but seems a bit on the flimsy side.

Summary

A decent helmet but if you have a larger head look at a higher end Reebok, Bauer or Cascade. Not a soft fit, I'd go with the S-9 if your interested in Easton, it has a more comfortable fit with it's VN liner. Protection and ventilation is good and a sharp looking helmet.

I dont have this helmet yet but im gonna get it, by the look of it, it already looks like it rocks on my head!

This helmet is awesome! Looks badass, feels awesome, the two adjustment options makes the helmet fit right to the shape of your head. I wear a halfmask on it, and it looks sick

Fits great, feels great, easy to adjust. Cant say enough about this great helmet!! If your looking for a spendier helmet do no questioning, just BUY IT, i know you will like the results!!

Dont buy the s9, it is a cheapier version of this helmet. This one fits awesome and feels great. It looks hot too :P

Great helmet. Fit is amazing, holds tighter on my head than any helmet I've worn before. Temple pads actually sit nicely on the side of my head. Giro IN-Form system is easy to use and you can feel what it's doing. Can't say enough.
