Forward Design - This adjustable feature allows for excellent forward mobility and when combined with the segmented hip system it provides an incredible range of motion for the entire torso area
Forward Flex Spine Protector - Offers excellent protection for the vulnerable area of the lower back and is designed to flex with you as you move
2-Way Belt System - This unique holster-style belt system improves stability by drawing an ergonomically designed belt around the waist without impeding mobility from the buckle

Forward flex design (FFD) allows complete freedom of mobility in between the torso and the hip by segmenting the upper portion of the pants

The protection on these is good, but the ventilation is horrible. I bought these a month ago and completely disappointed. Would NOT recommend.

These pants provide a lot of protection with lots of flexibility. They are also very light. Great construction and are very comfortable. Highly recommended!

These pants are incredibly light but highly protective. They are one of the best pants I've ever worn. Easton has tried a different type of hip padding that is solid in the center and high density around the centre core, The leg pads are a double piece plastic that give you great mobility and protection with high density foam at the back for extra protection on the inside of the leg. The tailbone pad is nice and wide and gives you unmatched protection. These pants are so much better than my old pants from another popular equipment manufacturer. I especially like the belting system which is very unique but works very well and doesn't obstruct my forward movement. I'll be using Easton again because I'm totally satisfied with the lightness and great quality of these pants. I haven't had anything to complain about these pants since I got them about six months ago. I'm starting to look at some of their other protective for future use now because I'm so happy with these pants.

Just got these, they offer outstanding protection and were confortable out of the box in the first game. Pretty lightweight, very good flexibility and i love the innovation strap system in front - to me this is the best high end protection for the money.

I've had these pants three months now and they are great. Unbelievably protective yet still very light like a pair of low level pants. The ventilation is some of the best I've ever encountered and I love the belt system that allows great flex. So far no durablilty issues. What I loved about these is how loose they felt when I first used them. Their even better now with a few months usage. Love the direction Easton is headed here. Well done.

Great Pants

These are some of the best pants I've ever owned. Unbelievable protection and flexibillity. I've come from a pair of Bauer XXV's that where lacking in tailbone protection and I have the bruises to show for it. These Eastons give me far superior protection at the tailbone area, as well as around the thighs, kidneys and spine areas. They are a far cry from what I came from and I've had no quality issues whatsoever. I;m an Easton convert and will be looking at some of their other protective products to replace my current equipment as it wears out.

Good protection, BUT

I bought these 8 weeks ago because I wanted better protection, and that I got. These offer great protection and flexibility. However the stitching is coming apart every where. I only play 2 to 3 games a week in a non-check league, so I am pretty disappointed in there durability.
