Perfect fit
February 10, 2013
It's about time there was body armor made specifically for a woman's anatomy. I'm 5'03"/130 lbs slightly broad shoulders and the sm is a perfect fit: snug, not tight, allowing for lots of movement.

Is this the only option for shoulder pads. Or could you go with senior shoulder pads. And what size difference is it between the senior and women's shoulder pads.
By Customer Service on March 2, 2015

Answer:
The only women's shoulder pads we have available are these CCM shoulder pads and the Bauer Supreme ONE.4 womens shoulder pads. There would be a significant size gap between the women's shoulder pad sizing and the senior men's shoulder pad sizing. A Small in a men's senior shoulder pad would be almost equivalent in size to a women's Large shoulder pad. Here is Bauer's shoulder pad sizing guide where you can find both the senior and women's sizing guide to use as a reference.

After looking at the sizing chart I'm not sure if I would be better of with this or Men's gear.

I'm tall for a woman (6") and the sizing chart stops at 5'9". I'd prefer the design of the women's gear, but am I too tall for it to fit?
By Customer Service on April 22, 2015

Answer:
The sizing chart is just used as a guideline, and doesn't always factor in everything. At your height, I think you should be fine going with an X-Large shoulder pad in a women's size.
