Incredibly Mobile
January 29, 2016
Bought this chesty to replace my 10 year old Simmons. Right out of the box I could tell how much lighter it was. Took a couple of wears to get used to the extra bulk in shoulders. I wear a dangling throat guard and the larger shoulder caps make it slightly difficult to turn your head. Have taken a number of shots to the shoulders and don't feel any of them which is good as the Simmons only had a single flap. These have 3 layers covering the shoulder joint and collar bone. Arm coverage is good and the elbow cup was easy to configure the way I like. You can make the elbow pieces as loose or tight as you want. Only gripe is that I've taken a couple slightly off center in the belly and I still do feel them through the belly padding. Overall very happy with the mobility and would recommend this chesty.
Pros:
Light, good shoulder protection, mobile, easy to customize

What are the differences between the pro spec and standard sub zero C/A's? Will the standard version work well for high end high school play?
By Customer Service on January 13, 2014

Answer:
The Standard Sub Zero C/A is suitable for any level of play. The main differences between the Pro and Regular C/A is the adjustment features on the arms and some additional padding segments. They are both elite level Chest Protectors.
