SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Well worth the $$
March 8, 2014
Had to buy these last season when my old Supreme Tempo's finally bit the dust. After a full year playing on them 2-3 days a week, I absolutely love them. Light, sturdy, supportive, the boot is way more than you could ask for at this price point. The wheels are a little hard for sport court play, so I swapped them out right away with the set from my old skates. 78A is kind of middle of the road, too soft for blacktop, too hard for sport court. If you play on concrete or finished wood they'd probably be perfect. I wish skate manufacturers would stick with using wheel company wheels and not try to supply their own, they're always inferior. Despite not stating so, the boots ARE bake-able (and it makes them fit AMAZING). So if you're on the fence, get these and use the $$ you save for some Red Stars, Grippers or other good indoor wheels.
Lightweight Great fit for narrow feet Stiff/Supportive Laces hold tight Protective/Durable
Wheels are too surface-specific - Too hard for court, too soft for outdoor

Good skate
November 1, 2013
It's a good skate for the price. I only play weekends so it's not bad had the tour etx 550 so this is a good skate if you don't want to spend a lot and you only play 1 or 2 times a week.
Great boot
Wheels could be better

Good Skates, bad wheels
November 6, 2012
Great price, the skates are very durable, but the wheels are really bad, I just used them for 1 month, 4 times a week, and I lose 3 wheels... the material is real bad, Ive got to buy new wheels last week... Not good at all... BTW, the skate is awesome, very protective...

Are these designed for asphalt or would I need to buy separate wheels for outdoor street hockey?
By Jeremiah at on September 27, 2013

78A wheels are designed to be used on wood, sport court and smooth concrete surfaces. If you plan to skate on asphalt or any unfinished outdoor surface, a separate set of wheels will be necessary. 84A wheels are the best choice for asphalt.

1. If I wear a Size 9 nike. What size would I be.
2. A lot of the REVIEWS say that the wheels are bad.

By Customer Service on April 4, 2014

7.5 would be the best choice for you, but 8.0 would also work if you don't want a particularly snug fit. The wheels should really only be used on Sport Court. If they're used on an outdoor surface, they will not hold up well.

are they made the same size as ice skate
By Customer Service on August 28, 2013

Yes, these are designed off the same last as the Bauer Vapor X2.0 Ice Hockey skates.
