Great stick, even better price

I got this stick on a great sale price, less than $80 delivered. It has replaced my sons stick immensely. I would suggest this stick to anyone with a junior player that is low in body weight, but high in skill. As always, super fast delivery. The delivery process is one of a few reasons why I only buy from Hockey Giant. It's fast and cheap!!!

My 10 year old is 56 inches tall without skates, will this stick be the right height or do I have to go up a size to intermediate?
By Jeremiah at HockeyGiant.com on October 7, 2013

Answer:
At 4'8", he is still in the Junior stick range. When he reaches 5'0", he should be just about ready for an intermediate stick, unless he's on the heavy side and needs a stiffer flex than Junior sticks offer. If he's average weight for his height then he'll be fine with Junior sticks until he hits the 5' mark.

My son is 4'10" and is left handed. What is the difference between the 45 flex and50 flex? The lefty stick is only available in 50 but he had seen it in a store with the 45. Thanks
By Customer Service on April 22, 2015

Answer:
The general rule of thumb for stick flex is that you want to get a flex that is approximately half the players weight. If he weighs 100 pounds, he will need a 50 flex. The flex of a stick refers to the amount of pressure it takes to bend the stick one inch. If you have a 50 flex stick, it will take 50 pounds of pressure in the middle of the shaft for it to bend one inch. Most companies make a 45 and 50 flex stick so in case the stick needs to be cut down, the flex won't be too high for the player using it. When cutting a stick down for length, every 1 inch you cut off you are adding about 4-5 points of flex to the stick.
