Recreational and intermediate level players will surely enjoy the fit and features of the Bauer Vapor X60 Skates. The X60 Skates are not to be confused with the Vapor X:60 Skates released in 2009, the top model from that generation. This model is from 2013/14 and sits right in the middle of the current Vapor Line. If you're looking for comfort and support, the X70 Skates are a great choice, with white felt tongues that provide great lace-bite protection and a classic look. In addition, you may be surprised by this, the X60 Skates are only 5 grams heavier than the APX2 Skates, and they're acutally lighter than the X100, X90 and X80 Skates!

Like the X70 Skates, the X60 Skates also have the sturdy Pro-8 Beveled TPU Outsole and the new Lightspeed Edge Holders. The Edge holders are designed to increase the skater's attack angle with additional height in the posts. In addition, the Edge holders make runner replacement easier than ever, with quick-release triggers that allow you to remove and replace the runners in less than a minute.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Have a nice day!
Compared to the Supreme one.6 skating, is there a significant distinction , which one would you recommend for intermediate level player, use three times a week.

Answer:
The One.6 and X60 Skates are very comparable, differing most significantly in the overall fit. View this image to get an idea of the fit characteristics of Vapor and Supreme Skates. I would recommend going up to the Vapor X70 if you're skating 3 times/week because it will provide longer-lasting support.

met first question is whats the difference between the x60 skate and the APX2 skate. and my second question is what is the price of these when they are on sale
By Customer Service on February 17, 2015

Answer:
The X60 Skates and the APX2 skates are very different performing skates, and they are each designed to tailor to a specific type of player. The APX2 skates are the top of the line skates in the Bauer Vapor line, while the X60 skates are a mid to intermediate level of skate. The only thing that the two share is going to be the LightSpeed Edge holders on them, everything else is different. The APX2 skates have a composite quarter package which is both extremely stiff and very lightweight, offering excellent performance. The X60 skates are designed with a sublimated tech mesh material in the quarter package, so they will be not as stiff and heavier than the APX2 skates. In addition, the APX2 Skates have a better interior liner, tongue, runners, footbed and outsole. The APX2 skates are designed for an elite level player, while the X60 Skates are designed for an intermediate level player that's still learning the game.
