The Bauer Supreme TotalOne NXG Hockey Gloves are Bauer's top Supreme Glove model. The Supreme Line of Gloves offers an anatomical fit, which is distinct from the Nexus and Vapor Glove Lines in that it is designed with a contoured, snug fit. This design reduces the amount of negative space in the gloves so that they feel like a natural extension of your hands, putting you in full control of your stick as you puckhandle and shoot.

There are several unique features you'll find with the TotalOne NXG Gloves. First, the NXG Gloves have a backhand pad made with Poron® XRD™ Foam, which is also found in their top-level helmets. Poron has incredible impact-absorption properties, which makes its application in hockey gloves very effective for protecting a player's hands from slashes, pucks and other types of impacts. It also serves quite well for the purpose of providing comfortable padding for the internal lining of the glove.

Inside the NXG Gloves, you'll also find Bauer's best liner, Thermo Max+, which does an excellent job of wicking away moisture and providing a comfortable surface for your hands to rest against inside the gloves. The palms of the gloves are made with high quality Nubuck Nash, which has PU overlays for increased durability in high-wear zones.

The Bauer Supreme TotalOne NXG Gloves truly have it all, with high quality materials, protective features and a comfortable fit.

Warm and Comfy

These gloves fit tight and are probably not for those with long fingers. They fit snug and seem a little tight on the knuckles and short in the fingers but, I prefer a tight fit. I feel like my former gloves would almost slip off when I loosened my grip on the stick, not these babies. They are also very warm, my hands do not get cold like with most of my former gloves.

We're not sure if my son needs a 13 or 14. No local place to try them on, his current 13" Eastons touch the end of his fingers. He's growing. 14" Eastons - he was undecided as to the size

There's a noticeable difference between 13 and 14 Inch Gloves, so going up to 14 ought to give him the extra room he needs. Gloves tend to cover a fairly broad size range when compared to other pieces of equipment. Someone wearing 14 Inch gloves could really be anywhere from 5'6" to 6'1", perhaps even broader, depending on how large or small their hands are in comparison to other people at the same height. The best way to size for gloves is to measure from the base of your middle finger to the crease of your elbow. That should give you a good reference point.

What is the difference between the total one nxg glove in the APX glove ?
By Customer Service on October 17, 2013

The main difference between the APX and NXG Gloves is the fit. Take a look at this image for a visual explanation of the fit profiles of each Bauer Glove. You'll find that the NXG Gloves are a bit more "snug" than the APX Gloves. In addition, the palms are made of different materials and the padding segments are in different configurations. There is also a padding insert in the backhand of the NXG Gloves made of Poron XRD® foam for additional slash protection and comfort.

is the nexus 1000 or nxg glove lighter?
By Jeremiah at on June 17, 2013

They're both approximately 315 grams in 14". You really won't be able to tell the difference.
