How do these compare in padding and ankle support to an entry level figure skate? How do they compare to a jr. Ice hockey skate in padding & ankle support (I know the react has a pick & tail like a figure skate, just interested in the boot).
By Customer Service on February 4, 2014

Answer:
Junior Hockey Skates will provide more ankle support and padding than figure skates and recreational skates. The React Recreational Skates will also provide more support and padding than figure skates. Hockey Skates will almost invariably be stiffer and contain more ankle padding than all recreational and figure skates. That being said, let your preferences and needs dictate your decision.

My wife is a size 7 shoe. What doe stat equate to in skate size?
By Customer Service on December 17, 2014

Answer:
This particular skate and most women's recreational skates run true to women's shoe sizes, so she would need a 7. At this time, it appears we no longer have any size 7.0 recreational skates, but we have plenty of hockey skates in her size. In hockey skates, she would be a size 4.0 Junior. Once you're on the page I've linked to, use the price filter on the left side of the page at the bottom of the filter list to find a pair of skates that fit your budget.

I'm normally a 8.5, but I know in certain cases my foot is too wide for some shoe brands, do I go up to a 9 or go with an 8 for a snug fit?
By Customer Service on October 21, 2014

Answer:
The 9 would probably be the better choice. If they are just a bit too large, an extra footbed or thicker socks will likely take care of the extra space.
