i bought these for my little sister. she wears a size 6.5 and i ordered a 7. Her toes were right up to the front of the skate, and she felt that she needed a little more room for comfort. So we returned them in exchange for a size 8 and they were significantly more comfortable. Nice , sturdy, yet comfortable skate. padding on the inside is comfy and warm

Willl these work for very low level pickup ice hockey? I am very much a beginner
By Customer Service on January 28, 2014

We do not recommend recreational skates for hockey. The main reason is that recreational skates do not provide very much protection, which is a vital component of ice hockey skates. I would recommend taking a look at the Bauer Vapor X40 Junior Skates. If you wear size 8.5 or smaller Women's U.S. Shoes, you should be looking at Junior Skates. If your shoes are size 9.0 or larger, you should be looking at Senior Skates

If I'm a size 8 in women's US size shoes, what size would I be in women or junior skates?.
By Customer Service on May 7, 2014

In Women's recreational skates, you'll just need to order the same size as your U.S. Shoe Size - 8. In men's recreational skates, you would need size 6.5 skates. If you order hockey skates, then you ought to be wearing size 5 junior skates. Typically you'll need to go 3 sizes down from Women's U.S. Shoe Sizes in order to find the correct hockey skate size. Men's and women's recreational skates, on the other hand, usually run true to either men's or women's shoe sizes, respectively.

What would be the sizing on these? Are they true to size, run big, or small?
By Customer Service on January 13, 2014

They run true to Women's U.S. Shoe Sizes.

What if my shoe size is 9.5? 10 is too big, 9 is too small.
By Jeremiah at on July 29, 2013

If you will be wearing thinner socks, the 9.0 skates should provide a good fit. If you plan to wear thick socks, go with the size 10 skates. You can also put an additional footbed/insole in the size 10 skates to create a more snug, secure fit if they're just a bit too roomy.

What color are these boots?
By Customer Service on May 21, 2014

They're mostly white with a silver/blue mesh accent.

In the description: what does "Quarter package" mean?
By Customer Service on February 20, 2014

It's essentially the sides of the boot that you can see on the outside. It's the stitched area where the Bauer logo is printed on the side. It contains the internal padding and provides the stiffness and support you need while you skate.
