Heavy for a "Vapor X:Lite"
August 8, 2014
This is the stick that made always double check the weight before I buy. I had an earlier model that was closer to 500-520 grams and this one is 580. 60-80 grams difference might not seem like a ton, you can really tell when you pick one up after the other. Nothing wrong with having a heavier stick if that's your thing, but this one really feels like it. Got an X70 on clearance or one of HG's fire sales/coupon mailers and I really like it compared to this. The feel of the puck is really different on the X70, this one feels like a 2x4 in comparison. All in all, not a terrible stick and you get what you pay for (entry level price = entry level weight, feel and construction)
Lasted me a while, mostly because I dont use it that often.

All I'm gonna say: You need this puppy. Before the Xlite I was just another grocery stick. Watchin all the hootenanny from the pine. My first shot I went bar down top cheese bottle knocker. I even feel like I can skate faster with this stick. The smooth design is great for smaller hands and it has nice flex. I am gonna go back and get like 3 more in case they stop making them any time soon. Gotta try it! Catch me in the show. Awesome!
Light, feels good, flexy, nice colors
none yet

Nothing wrong with the stick, just to heavy for what I'm accustom to.

i've only used this on the ice a few times, and this is my second stick since quitting hockey when i was 7. i think it is a pretty lightweight stick, it also seems very durable i took many slapshots with it and only one scratch on the toe was found. my shots veered to the left which didn't happen with my sher-wood stick and i'm left handed in hockey, i'm not sure what this means but it's most likely because of a different curve than im used to.
Durable cheap(ish) nice grip not sticky with gloves on but absolutly no sliping
as of right now not a veriety of options on blade/flex 60" long so if your tall you'll need an extension (im 5' 11" and it's fine) i wanted a lower flex but was very pleased with my curve P92

Does it have the stick um grip? It says grip in the first desription.

What Bauer line is this stick part of?
By Jeremiah at on June 4, 2013

The X:Lite Pro was made specifically for Hockey Giant, so it isn't an official part of the Vapor line, although it was built with the same characteristics as the sticks in the Vapor line. It does not have a grip finish.

Where does this stick stand in quality?
By Customer Service on December 12, 2013

It's comparable to the Vapor X 4.0 Stick from the current line.

I shoot with my left hand below my right. Assume I need a left stick?
Maybe a stupid question, but want to be sure.

By Jeremiah at on April 30, 2013

Yes, you need a Left. It's not a stupid question at all. Better safe than sorry!
