SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Great Skate for the Price
October 13, 2014
These skates are a terrific value for the price. The boot is stiff, yet the skates are still comfortable. They are also very light and responsive. My foot was too wide for the vapor line, my foot would cramp up. The supreme line is slightly wider and is a perfect fit. I owned an uncomfortable pair of bauer x4's in 5D and the 5.5E one.7's are a perfect fit

what is the difference between the One.6 and the One.7? What is the difference between the One.7 and the Bauer 170s?
By Customer Service on November 28, 2014

Answer:
The most notable differences between any two pairs of skates at different prices are going to be the stiffness and weight. The more expensive they are, the stiffer and lighter they tend to be. In this instance, there are also several upgrades to the main components, aside from the Holder and Runner, which are the same.

Comparing the One.7 and One.6: The One.7 has a composite outsole (stiffer and lighter), grip stabilizers on the footbed to minimize slippage, an improved liner that is better equipped to handle moisture and provide additional stabilization, as well as a thicker and more protective tongue.

The 170 Skates are very comparable to the One.7 Skates. The 170 Skates, though, are from this year while the One.7 Skates were released in 2012. The most notable difference between the two is the new Lightspeed Edge Holder which has a trigger release for quick runner replacement and is also a few millimeters taller in the back post for greater "attack angle", which means you can make tighter turns without "bottoming out". Also, the tongue is built with a 3-piece construction rather than 2-Piece, which allows for greater comfort and flexibility.
