SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Great Skate
December 10, 2014
Very comfortable skate, using for recreational skating, but don't see why it wouldn't be a great hockey players skate and the price can't be beat.

Perfect First Pair
December 7, 2014
I bought these skates for my first pair of ice hockey skates. New to Ice I wasn't aware that I needed to sharpen them so I skated without sharpening. I obviously recommend getting them sharpened. However, the boot itself is more comfortable from any inline skate I've owned. I went with Bauer because the popularity of the name and it highly paid off without breaking the bank.
Pros:
Great Comfort Great Ankle Support (Personal Preference)

Supreme skates
December 1, 2014
Decent skate but feels okay when stepping on the ice. Didn't really like the material on the tongue of the skate though. Falls off a lot and sticks to hand a little bit.
Pros:
Good feel even though I bought the wrong size.

Great

These are great skates for those who are starting out. They have good comfort and can get broken into pretty quickly.

Great Entry Level Skate
October 8, 2014
Great comfort and function for the price. Don't respond to baking so break-in the old fashioned way. Don't expect super long life but you will be satisfied with the life you get.

These skates were my very first pair and I was happy about them ever since I took them out of the box. Awesome padding throughout the entire skates. Extremely comfortable. Really really great skates for beginners. Highly recommended. The style of the boot is pretty cool too.

Would this be a good skate for a kid age 12-13 who skates 2-3 days a week. But has a VERY strict budget of lowest possible to maybe 90 or 100 if I get lucky.
By Customer Service on January 30, 2014

Answer:
The One.4 Skates aren't a bad choice for beginner skaters. But, if you're playing at a competitive level, A, AA or higher, the boot will likely wear down in one season or less because players at that level put a fairly substantial amount of extra stress on their skates. Since your 12-13, you're probably still growing, which means that you may only use the skates for one season anyhow.

Will these skates arrive already sharpened?
By Customer Service on March 10, 2014

Answer:
Yes, if you order Skate Sharpening Service we will sharpen them before shipping them out.

My skates arrived, but overlooked the sharpening service when I placed my order. Do you recommend sharpening before use, or are they good to go for recreational ice skating?
By Customer Service on May 21, 2014

Answer:
They need to be sharpened before you skate with them. They come with a dull factory edge.

This is my first pair of skates and I get really bad cramps in the arch of my feet when skating. My friends who play hockey suggested getting them baked. Can these be baked to help with the fit and feel?
By Customer Service on May 21, 2014

Answer:
This particular model doesn't respond to baking. But, after about 5 hours of skating, they ought to break in and become much more comfortable.

Are the runners replacable
By Customer Service on March 13, 2014

Answer:
The Lightspeed Pro Holders do not allow for runner replacement. You'll need the Lightspeed 2 or Lightspeed Edge Holders for that capability.

Could you recommend a beginners hockey skate for a 15 year old boy. He is just learning how to skate. Thanks!

By Customer Service on February 12, 2014

Answer:
The Supreme One.4 Skates are actually a good choice for beginners. If he's playing in a hockey league, they will likely need to be replaced after one season because they aren't particularly stiff. As he progresses in his skating, you'll want to consider going up a model or two in the Supreme line (around the $100 - $150 range) when you make your next purchase so that he has additional support and protection.

I'm a size 13 in U.S shoe size and had never worn skates ever, what skate size would you recommend for the Bauer Supreme ONE.4 Senior Ice Hockey skates?
By Customer Service on November 30, 2014

Answer:
11.5 would be the best choice. It ought to provide a comfortable, snug fit. Keep in mind that if you've never worn hockey skates before, it's going to be a little uncomfortable until they break in. Give the skates 3 to 5 hours for a proper break-in.

I take a woman's size 9 and one half. (Yeah, I wear men's hockey skates). What size would fit me?
By Customer Service on May 30, 2014

Answer:
6.5 or 7 would provide the best fit. If you like a snug fit, 6.5. If you prefer to have a little more room, 7.0 would be the way to go.
