SENIOR Hockey SkatesSenior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.
JUNIOR Hockey Skates Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 7 to 13 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.
YOUTH Hockey Skates Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 2 to 7 years old with a US youth shoe size of 7 to 1.5.
*Female Skaters* The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

One 80
May 22, 2012

Giant was all aces with customer support and worked to resolve a problem with the boot fit after baking ,that didn't improve the painful fit in a number of places. Giant gave me a few options, turn around time with re turn shipping was lightening fast and they really went out of rink with support, shipping a new pair that were all most perfect when baked twice with in warantee! These skates need 4 or 5 games to break in and how you lace them is the difference between more or less rub especially near the inner ankle bones and the knuckle on the big toe! I use a small thin gel pad to eliminate any pressure on the toe , but the ankle ana form pad took a while to set up and rubbed a bit of skin off ,nothing major! Yes the blade is longer by .5mm and they feel longer but the power and balance is superb. I found that too tight is bad when lacing the one 80's and snug is better ...giving the foward flex you need because the boot is so stiff that the support is there when it feels like it isn't!, if you're coming out of older pro stock 7000 chain mail leather skates! Light to middle weight as the Vapors are a few grams less, but durability is the question on the 80's and that point seems to be an issue with some of the feed back players. The old 7000 composition was bullet proof and durable . The new lighter materials in weight, may not give you many years of service even with 4 hours a week on the ice for a very good solid skater! Time and more feedback will tell!

Bargain
April 2, 2012
Purchased Bauer one 80's, upgrade from 25 year old skates (old school). Purchased on-line, at bargain price, especially with the 15% additional discount for end of model year. Then taken to Cherry Hill retail outlet for heat mold and sharpen (no additional charge). Sharpened to perfection, rocket fast and solid edge all around, feels like skating on rails! Took only 20 minutes into open skate to adapt to the new style boots, absolutely love the skates. For me the stiffer the better (that's what she said).Highly recommend the skate and HockeyGiant.

Disappointed
January 20, 2012
Looks great out of the box, nice solid boot at first. After a few months, the outer coating of the boot flaked off at the contact points when turning. The latest problem is on one boot, where it meets the sole has developed a crack on the inside so the boot flexes where it isn't supposed to. I've had them about 18 months. This will be the first time I need to buy new skates b/c the boot fell apart. They do fit great so I'm probably getting the One-100s or Total Ones next

Solid Performer!
November 17, 2011
The Supreme One80's are a solid performer. They are light and comfortable. Very quick break in time. I would say the only (slight) draw back I have seen from my skates is that they do scuff easily...but nothing wrong with a few war scars!

Pretty Decent
May 6, 2011
These are very nice skates. Great support, very light, extremely comfortable and responsive and have a nice feel to them on the ice. The down side to these skates is the achilles guard at the back of the skate seems somewhat thin and flimsy. I also find the price rather high for a skate three levels down from the top end One 100's. There are other brands that offer you a bit more in features in the same price range. Overall though, these are a nice offering from Bauer and yes I would recommend them to a friend.

Alright But Not For Me
April 21, 2011
I tried these skates and found them about average. Nothing special about the performance but very comfortable. They are a little more protective than some of Bauers other models but very stiff. Toke a while to adjust to the stance on the ice as well. I really don't find them anything great but not a bad all around skate for league play. I;m sticking with my Eastons because I like the on ice stance and responsiveness as well as the superior protective properties.

Bauer 0ne80

Great skate, comfortable, no break in period. Boot does have a wide toe which I need. I Did find boot to be stiffer than I am used to. I quit lacing the top eyelet and skating improved immediately.

One80 Skate
July 2, 2010
I went from an Easton Synergy 1200 to these One80's. This skate has great support where you need it and some give where you want it. There was no break in time, super comfortable. Only thing you need to really watch out for is the wide toe box. I got an EE which is a little wide for me even though I was in a wide Easton. My toes are in no mans land, but it makes it nice when I ref 3 games straight. While playing the skate feels much more solid in corners than the Eastons.
