Wish it was tighter
December 12, 2014
I don't like the idea of waisting tape on shin guards. I've used all kinds of velcro straps to try and keep my shin guards securely placed on my shins, but haven't quite found the right strap. I thought these would do the trick - and they do - just not as tight as I would have hoped. I know there is a "jr" size, but I was told it be too tight to even put on. So now I use these sleeves WITH straps... and it seems to work for now.

I wear 15" Warrior Franchise shinpads. My calves are normal for a hockey player. Should I get the "Senior" size or XL?
By Customer Service on March 31, 2014

The Senior would likely be the best choice for 14 - 15" shin guards. The X-Large is best for 16" Shin Guards and above.

Do these come as a set, or separately? If I buy one, would I get one for each leg, or would I need to buy two?
By Customer Service on May 24, 2013

They are sold in pairs. If you order a quantity of 1, you'll receive a pair.

which is larger size XL or senior
By Customer Service on October 27, 2014

The X-Large size is larger. The Senior size works well for most adult players wearing either Small, Medium or Large gear.

Are these worn above the and over the knee ,looking for a sleeve to go under a ACL brace.
By Customer Service on July 19, 2014

This product is made to be worn over your hockey shin guards and under your hockey socks to keep your shin guards tight and in place, so it may be too loose to fit on your legs without shin guards.
