This innovative hand-held multi-tool combines the sharpening power of ceramic steel and replaceable honing stone for a de-burring, making the Re-Edger™ perfect for on-the-fly repairs. RESTONE - Replacement stones for The Re-Edger™ Patent pending
The Re-Edger™ combines handheld sharpening technology and precision honing in one simple tool. The ceramic steel fits player and goalie hockey blades as well as most figure skate blades. To repair the edges, simply follow the instructions below
The Re-Edger™ does not replace professional skate sharpening. It is to be used between sharpening and for emergency purposes
To repair edges, place skate blade between the two white prongs and slide The Re-Edger™ from toe to heel with light pressure. Repeat only if needed
To remove nicks, place stone flat onto the side of the blade. Using light pressure, rub in one direction from toe to heel. Repeat until abrasion is removed. Do not over rub

Works As Advertised!

Follow the directions and this will be one of the most valuable tools you carry with your gear. Go evenly and very lightly over your blade and keep in mind with this tool, less is more. I'll do three light passes to refresh my edges, keeping in mind to keep the tool level with the blade. This has enabled me to get a couple extra weeks between going to the grinder and it has already paid for its self in less than a month. My only complaint (very minor) is it will make your edges bite a little right after using it; good warm up drills on your edges seem to take care of this!

Great price point for a great easy to use tool that does exactly what it says it does!

Just got this today (1/4/13) had some dull blades havent gotten them sharpened in about a month and i ran this over my blades about 10 times and they felt great! Highly recommend this product!
